Green Card Approval After a Challenging Immigration Journey
Congratulations to Salima, a citizen of Ghana, on receiving her Green Card approval!
Before coming to Khalique Law, Salima had filed another immigration petition and faced several challenges along the way. She was feeling discouraged about her immigration situation and unsure of what options were still available to her.
After reviewing Salima’s case, we identified a visa option she had not previously considered. Building a strong case required gathering extensive documentation from both Ghana and the United States, as well as providing circumstantial evidence to support her petition.
Our work first helped Salima obtain a work permit and travel permit. With her travel authorization, she was finally able to return to Ghana to visit her children—an incredibly meaningful milestone after being separated from them.
After a two-year journey, Salima received the news she had been waiting for: her case was approved, and she received her Green Card!
